Why is it vital for me to continue the #MusaideVizitat / #MustVisit Campaign even if I am not living in Romania anymore?
Well, there are a bunch of reasons: I could move tomorrow to the North Pole; this doesn't make me any less proud of being Romanian or change my love and admiration for some of its exceptional people and beautiful places. My country is absolutely amazing, and I will not ever stop promoting it.
Second, no matter where we are living, we absolutely need to feed our souls and minds with beauty in this horrible dirt we all, no matter the country, live in.

So in today's article, part of the #MusaideVizitat / #MustVisit Campaign, Ioana Buru, the one behind the wonderful photos you'll find here, and I invite you to discover bric-à-brac, your not-so-ordinary shop for timeless objects for household and personal use. Situated in Constanta, bric-à-brac encapsulates some of my most essential passions and values.

- Its products are hand manufactured from wooden and other natural and non-toxic and sustainable fabrics and materials. Thus, it combines the desire to preserve the craftsmanship process with a commitment to environmental sustainability and client health.

- It represents the exact idea in which I believe and about which I am writing all the time: transform ordinary activity into a splendid routine and ritual. I believe that using quality and aesthetically pleasing items can enhance our experience while doing household chores. My all-time favourite product is the wicked basket in all of its forms and shapes and sizes. I love doing the groceries French style even if now I am living in the south of Spain. And the plates and the mugs are made from enamel, so be careful with the health. They are not only aesthetically pleasing but also, OMG, such beauties as well.

- It reminded me about what I read a few years ago in a book written by Dominique Loreau.

"Quality helps us live happier, calmer, and with more confidence in life and in ourselves. It’s not a matter of means, but of choices. The ancients used to say that they could not afford to buy things of poor quality: purchases had to have a long life."
The products you can buy at bric-à-brac have this exact quality, and they also assist you in "giving yourself a brief moment of luxury every day."
Why would someone want to wipe the dust with a plastic and ugly item? Why would someone want to use toxic candles? Why would you want to do the groceries in an ugly plastic bag? Why would n't you want to be surrounded by beauty, quality, and simplicity at its finest?

I don't want to end this article without asking you to support local businesses and brands. Especially in these tough times, they need it. If you're not purchasing, please consider promoting them on your social media channels. You would be amazed to see how a simple post on Instagram or share can be transformed into an order, a happy customer and a happy little business owner.
